Beautiful Fall

We have been out and about enjoying beautiful fall temperatures here in western New York.  Two weekends ago, we took the kids to a beautiful Camp Pioneer.  Camp Pioneer is a local LCMS camp right on the shores of Lake Erie.  We had a blast being outside for two days, and the best part was that "Camp Pioneer" was more so like a hotel--we had a bed and bathroom right in our cabin AND the kids got to sleep on bunk beds.  Score!  On Friday (Haune's day off) we had a couple of free passes to the Buffalo Botanical Gardens that were about to expire, so we took the kids to Buffalo for the day and had fun exploring our new city.  We love and miss you all, thanks for keeping up with the Hauan Family!

Haune was able to take each child out on a canoe.  They loved it!

This is Jacob, Haune's cooperating pastor's youngest child.  He
is just two months younger than Julia.  Needless to say, these two
have become buddies.  They came to camp on Saturday morning with
others from our church to help with "Camp Cleanup Day."
