We spent last week on the farm in Iowa for our family vacation. It was WONDERFUL!!! Thanks, Mom and Dad, for making it so special and fun! Here's a bunch of pictures from the week... enjoy!

| My side of the family |
| Needless to say, Julia got quite a bit of attention... |
We had the Swensons over for a bit on Sunday night:
| Part of the gang |
| The grillers/supervisors |
| A friendly game of family kickball |
Mr. Hesston Johnson brought his cute kids to the farm to visit as well:

| Dad and the newest addition to the Johnson family, Ali |
| Reece and Bubba had fun playing with Haune |
Aunt Jane cooked up a yummy seafood feast for us:
We went swimming a few times at the Hubbard Pool:
| Julia LOVED the slide and kept saying, "More please!" |
We visited Clem and Evie:
Upon clearing out the attic we found numerous childhood treasures. Here's Julia playing with some of my old toys from when I was little:
| She greatly enjoyed my kitchen set |
| This old shopping cart is just her size! |
Ryan also found quite a few treasures including but not limited to Star Wars
toys, G.I. Joe figurines, and Dukes of Hazzard items. |
No trip to Iowa in the middle of August is complete without a visit to the Iowa State Fair. We went on a nice cool day--it was amazing, as always!
| The 100th Anniversary Butter Cow |
| Yes, "butter" was the theme this year.... |
| A Turkey with a HUGE turkey leg! |
Uncle Ryan got to spend lots of cuddle time with his niece:

| Reading. One of Julia's favorite past times |
| Love!!! |
Aunt Jane also enjoyed playing with Julia. I think she had to stack these old blocks up for Julia approximately 100 times... she LOVED knocking them down, just like I did when I was her age.
We all enjoyed relaxing and spending time on the deck:
| Numerous cribbage games were played.... |
Upon returning to Rochester we capped the week off with a FREE Collective Soul Concert down at Mayo Park. It was truly a wonderful week!
