Young Love... Part II

Starting today, Julia and I are going to be spending time with a little guy named Hudson every other Thursday morning for a few hours.  Hudson is the son of our friends Dan and Katia and is only one month younger than Julia.  As you can see, these two are also quite smitten with one another...

Waking Up

Here's what she's been doing lately when she wakes up from her nap.  (Sorry it's kind of a dark video!):

All Tuckered Out

Just a few pics from last week.  I attempt to still put her in dresses and sandals still whenever it's warm enough--extremely cold Minnesota weather will be here before we know it!

It's hard work being a baby

A precious gift from my friend Erika Holmes.  Too cute!

So long pink peep toe sandals!  You no longer fit our little girl and we will miss you so much!

Silly Dad

Eric can do just about anything now and Julia thinks it's hilarious.  She was giggling at him when he was talking on the phone, when he was simply sitting in a chair, and last night at supper when he was doing this:

Flatulence Funnies

Julia truly giggled for the first time last night at Daddy who just happened to be making flatulence noises with his mouth.  We both thought that her Great Uncle Mike Kinzley would have been proud. :)  Video taken on September 22, 2010.

Young Love

Since moving to Rochester 3+ years ago, Cindy Lanza and I have become great friends, as have our husbands.  In addition to having the same career as well as many similar interests (one being our husband's energy levels) we also have little ones who are only a little more than 7 months apart.  The picture below is of Mr. Hunter Lanza on his first birthday earlier this week.  As you can see, Hunter and Julia are quite smitten with one another...

Summer 2010

Below are some random pictures from this past summer.  There is no real order to any of these photos, but hopefully the captions can help explain them a bit.

Brendan and Eric hiked a 14'er after the wedding.  Here's just one of those pictures from that hike.

Stage Fright

Here she is again in one of her favorite toys--The Jumperoo.  You'll have to take my word for it, before I pulled out the video camera she was giggling and jumping like a maniac!!!  As soon as I pressed "play" she stopped!  The little movement you see in this video is from me mostly helping her jump with my hand.  I guess she got a little stage fright. :)  Video taken in September, 2010.

Look Who's Talking!

Grandma and Grandpa Hauan gave us an early Christmas present--our first video camera!  Thank you, Hauans!!!  Here's my first attempt to upload a video of our little lady.  She is quite the talker!  Video taken in September, 2010.

Julia's Baptism

Julia was baptized May 22, 2010 at Redeemer Lutheran Church here in Rochester.  She was surrounded by many loved ones who traveled from both near and far to share in her very special day.  For the occasion, she wore a special dress that was hand-made by her Great-Grandma Julia and her Great Aunt June.  30 years ago, Julia's cousin, Emily, wore this same dress at her baptism as well.  After the church service, the guests all came back to our house for a grill-out potluck.  Many people brought dishes to share while Mark and Gloria grilled for everyone.  It was such a wonderful day!
