Cardinals Win!!!

We had a BLAST going to the Cardinals game on Monday night!  Julia won two free tickets through our local library reading program, and a friend here on campus gave us two more free tickets.  She chose to take her friend, Emme, as it would have been just a bit too long/late for Calboy.  (He had 1 on 1 fun with a babysitter though.)

We made an event out of it by taking the Metro (public train transportation) both to and from the game.  The girls did AWESOME throughout the whole night--we were so proud.  Not only did we witness a Cardinals home run but also a GRAND SLAM in the 7th which ended up being the game clincher!  It was pretty exciting--we can't wait to go back to Busch Stadium!

"We're ready to go!"

On the train...

We loved the view.

Julia has recently learned to ride her bike--big girl!  Every evening she rides her bike around our little cul-de-sac with her friends and we push Cal on Julia's old trike.  We've created quite the Sem biker gang.

Biker chics plus Cal.

Too cute not to post. :)

These two get to watch The Cat in the Hat sometimes.  They are totally
 mesmerized by this special treat!

Fun in the Sun

We've been having a ton 'o fun with Haune as he is on an extended break between his summer and fall term!  We've been busy having fun in the sun.  Enjoy the pics!

We took our neighbor and friend Sasha to one of our favorite St. Louis locations: The Missouri Botanical Gardens.

Buddies.

We spent a morning at the zoo with Daddy:

A favorite--touching the sting rays!

Shana (Sasha's Mommy) came over and taught us how to cook
Chicken 65--soooo yummy!  Baby Shaan helped as well.

I have two Iowa farm kids at heart.  They LOVE sweet corn.  Grandpa Gene would be so proud!

Silly dress up time:

Halloween costumes 2012.

"It still fits, Aunt Erin!"

This girl won our family free tickets to a
Cardinals game through the local
library reading program.  We're going on Monday!

The Hauan kids threw a pool party for our Sem friends on Saturday morning.  We had approximately 15-20 kiddos in and out of our backyard for some wet and wild fun.

Whew!  That's all for now, thanks for checking in.  See you soon!
