Last weekend was a busy one. Haune was officially installed at St. John's Vicar during all three Saturday and Sunday services. We were so well received and welcomed -- once again we realized that we are a part of a very special congregation.
After the marathon of church services, we decided to have a fun afternoon with the kids. We went fishing at a local park and headed up to Buffalo as well. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
Our family adventures will need to slow down a bit this next week or so, I sprained my ankle walking to the library with the kids on Thursday. :( I fell down, they fell down (since we were all holding hands) but a visit to Urgent Care and the OB showed us that no one got seriously injured--kids were fine, baby is fine, and I'm in a walking boot for a little while. Hopefully I'll be able to get healed up soon so we can put some new and exciting pictures on our blog for you. We love and miss you all!!!!

We have the cutest little lake a couple of blocks from our house, so we decided to take the kids fishing. They even caught the bait (crickets) in our backyard. |

After fishing we decided to head up to Buffalo and check out Lake Erie and the Canal walk. We had a really fun afternoon. |

Old war ships and planes are scattered throughout the Canal Walk. This is the U.S.S. The Sullivans, named after the famous Sullivan brothers from Waterloo, IA. It was used in WWII, Korea, and the Cuban Missile Crisis. |

Seeing all of the Buffalo icons around Buffalo inspired Julia to draw her own buffalo during supper. (He is saying, "HI".) The drawing was so cute, I had to snap a pic. |

My new favorite picture of these two. I don't know how she talks him in to dancing, but somehow she does... he will give me grief for this in a few years I'm sure! |
