Grandma Sue's Visit--Take 2

We were so spoiled to have Grandma Sue here for such a long visit.  (We miss you, Grandma!)  Before everyone got sick (cold for Cal, strep for Julia, and sinus infection/cough for Grandma Sue) we had a blast buzzing all over St. Louis and checking out the sites.

Here's a bit of a catch up from the last couple of weeks:

The Basilica Cathedral St. Louis.  Absolutely stunning!

On cold days we head to the dining hall for some entertainment:

"Edelweiss" and "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" "Let It Go"

During January, February and March, the fire department of Clayton puts on a movie night for families.  We took mom to the kick off movie of the season: Wreck It Ralph.  They set up a big screen, gave the kiddos fire chief helmets, bags of goodies (coloring books, pencils, erasers, stickers, pencil sharpeners, etc), let them climb all over the fire trucks and even popped/served us popcorn!  We had an absolute blast... and the best part was that it was FREE! ; )

Our train fella.

A friend of ours made this darling hat for Julia.

Julia has been taking "big kid" swimming lessons the past few weeks.  She
has a wonderful teacher, Ms. Liz.

I briefly sifted through some pictures from Valentine's Day 2013... Our kids have grown so much!
