The Hauan Household: Snow Much Fun!

We have a lot to catch up on... I will try to explain as I go. The first two are just some cute pictures of our 'lil loves:

Two Fridays ago, our family was invited to a Royal Birthday Ball for two of our little friends who were turning 5. We all had a great time, especially our little Prince and Princess!

Grandma Sue is here to visit (for THREE weeks--she hitched a ride with a friend from Hubbard!) We have been keeping her busy busy BUSY! Here's our first adventure with Grandma Sue at the Science Center:

A few months ago, we purchased two Sesame Street Live tickets for a "Daddy/Daughter date" not realizing it was the same weekend Haune was out of town for class assignment. (FYI, they traveled to Tennessee to learn about various initiatives some churches are taking with their congregations--he really enjoyed it!) With Daddy out of town, I took Julia on a "Mommy'Daughter date" instead--we both had a TON of fun!

To top off the date, we went to watch the Preachers basketball team take on Ft. Wayne Seminary... Preachers won, but the highlight was that Julia got to be a cheerleader with the big girls. Oh boy, she LOVED everything about it!

This same day, we became an Aunt and Uncle again! Haune's sister Erin gave birth to beautiful Aaliyah Faye! We can't wait to meet her! (Stay tuned for some pics.)

The next morning we headed to the mall to get Julia's ears pierced (in her Elsa dress)--she did great! She hopped up in the chair and told the gals, "I'm going to get my ears pierced. It's going to hurt for a little bit, but I'm pretty brave!" She picked out a beautiful pair of rainbow crystal earrings and is absolutely loving them. She did great throughout the piercing, we think she fussed for about 10 seconds and was all smiles when they gave her a sucker. To celebrate, we saw Frozen for one final time in the theaters.

Our friends the Schmidts (also Julia's Prettyschool teacher) were out and about shopping and found a sweatshirt they just had to buy for Julia... NINJA TURTLE! Thanks again for the fun surprise, Schmidts! You're the best!
