Colorado/Black Hills

For the first part of our month-long vacation, we headed out west to spend time with Haune's side of the family.  We made stops on the eastern side of South Dakota to see some family (yeah Salem!) then continued on to the Black Hills where we stayed for a day before taking off for Denver, Colorado to watch Uncle Brendan graduate from Regis University with a degree in physical therapy--congrats again, Dr. Alex!  Here's a bunch of pictures and videos from our time out west, I'll try my best to briefly describe each one:

This video is of Brendan walking across the stage and the pictures are from his beautiful outdoor graduation and reception at the park.  We're so proud of you, Brendan!

The best picture of all four nieces and nephews.  (Hey Brendan--Cal is a baby, not a bomb.)

Regis had a BEAUTIFUL campus.

We managed just fine having 4 babes 3 and under in 2 hotel rooms.  Fun times were had by all!

Cousin picnic

Adults and kids alike sure enjoyed the pool.

The five of us were able to squeeze in a little workout at Red Rocks.  (BEAUTIFUL!!!)

We all enjoyed the Denver Children's Museum as well!

Grandma's girls

These videos are also from the Children's Museum... Check out Julia's sweet dance moves in the second one!  In the final video, Cal was enamored with Sonya's friend Ricka.

We also took a little day trip to gorgeous Boulder.  Haune got a bit adventurous and took a few pictures from some very high peaks...

On the way back to the Black Hills from Colorado we stopped by to visit the Seaman family--Dustin and Haune have been best friends since they were wild little boys..

After visiting CO/NE we spent time with Mark and Gloria and the rest of our Black Hills family.  Thanks for the wonderful time, Mark and Gloria!  We love and miss you!
