The Hauan Household: Calboy's Birthday Party

On November 12, Cal turned FOUR!!! We thank God for our charming, funny, and smart little boy. He's grown up so much over this past year... We celebrated the special occasion by having another birthday party with his "Birthday Buddies." These four boys had their 1st, 2nd, and 4th birthday parties together. (When they turned 3 we were all living in separate states on vicarage.) We advertised the party as "Four Fantastic Fourth Year Boys are Turning FOUR." Catchy, right?! We had a superhero themed party complete with four superhero obstacles: Facing Fears, Agility, Strength, and Super Powers. To give you an example of some of the superhero tasks, the kids had to: rescue a stuffed animal by carrying it safely through an obstacle course complete with hot lava and cannon ball swings, super hero emblem jump, throwing buildings, catching villains (aka four fantastic daddies and wrapping them up with toilet paper), and crushing balloons. We finished out the party with popcorn and Rice Krispie treats. We're so thankful for this little boy and for all of the memories we've made with our Sem friends and his special Birthday Buddies.
