Catching Up

I'm waaaayyyy behind in my blogging, so I'll try my best to catch up on the month of September...

We've been able to catch up with a lot of our classmates through BBQs, play dates, outings, etc.  We have a really unique class in that the guys really get along well and a vast majority of us have young children.

It's a Sem tradition to have all Captain families pray with each other before the first day
of school.  We all walk over to Captain--which is literally on the other side of campus--together
that first day.  It was special!

One day I came in to get her from her nap and I found a pant-less baby!

In the beginning of September we had Field Day at the Sem.  There were numerous stations for each of the children to visit.  One of the stations included bike decorating materials so the kids could look flashy for the bike parade.  Field Day concluded with the Clayton Fire Department coming over and turning on their fire hose for the children to run through.  It was truly a Norman Rockwell-esque day.

 We've been busy with soccer for both Daddy and the two big kids.

Everyone should practice soccer in a rainbow shirt and a skirt....

We have been spending a lot of time outside with our friends... our kids caught a praying mantis
and it was a huge hit around these parts for all of the neighbor kids.
