Spring is Here... Perhaps?

Things are starting to thaw out a bit here now.  Even walking to church this morning, both kids simultaneously pointed to the ground and YELLED, "Grass!  Mom!  Look!  I see grass!"  Needless to say, it's been a long winter.  It snowed again a bit more this morning but it didn't stick to the ground this time.

We've been spending a lot of time making up our own fun indoors.  We're so proud of our kiddos and love to see them love each other (97% of the time). ;) They continue to absolutely adore Baby Hazel!  We are so very thankful for that.

Towards the end of this blog post, you'll see some pictures and videos of our final (I think?!) New York romp in the snow with our friends Brian and his dog, Coach.  We had such a fun time and will treasure memories--like these--from this truly epic winter in Orchard Park.

We took our friend Jenna on a date to see Cinderella.

Daddy spent this past weekend at Camp Pioneer for a confirmation retreat,
so before he left we took a family date to the local bowling ally.

The kids love the dynamic duo that is Brian and Coach.

The kids like to watch videos of themselves from "when they were little..."  I hope you enjoy this little trip down memory lane as much as we do.  (Julia was 2 yrs. 10 months, Calboy was 16 months.)

  1. Yup, they made me laugh out loud. In the last video of Cal... he looks and smiles like his Uncle Ryan. I had forgotten how much they looked alike. Absolutely love this blog!!!!!!!!

  2. I LOVED all of this post! The hazel giggles were so heartwarming (almost makes me want another baby!) and the dismounts from the swing were awesome! I think Cal's is the best! Hugs!
