Awesome Stuff

Getting caught up with some pictures.  Enjoy!

Calboy had a fun 2nd birthday!  Great minds think alike--this kiddo received some trains and oh boy was he a happy fella!  He can never have too many!  Here are some pictures from his birthday morning.  Thank you to everyone for the sweet gifts, phone calls, texts and cards:

"Thanks, Barb!  Love you!"

Dad always taught us to honor the Veterans, so on Veteran's Day the kids and I traveled to a small town in Illinois for a wonderful parade honoring the Vets and armed forces.  (We decided on traveling across the bridge to Illinois after much internet searching... this parade was only thing I could find that actually took place on Veteran's Day, most places around here celebrate the weekend before.)  It was completely worth the time to get there--this little town sure knows how to throw a Veteran's Day party!  We all really enjoyed the day.

The Sem hosted a bike race that went right through our back yard.  We gathered up our cow bells and cheered them on with our friends the Schmidts.

(I promise, the race consisted of more than two racers.)

The Sem's First Dog (who belongs to our President, Dr. Meyer)
had to come check out the bike race too.  The kids love Ferdie!
It seemed like a good idea to get a big branch out of the tree between races...

Thanksgiving feast at prettyschool was attend by Julia, Cal, and Daddy while I was at work:

This girl loves Cinderella:

We decided to set up the Christmas tree because Haune's new quarter will be starting up right after Thanksgiving.  It's such a joy to see our kids get so excited to set up for Christmas!

"It's beautiful, Grandma Sue!"
The kids have a "kid tree" in the toy room that they
can decorate and re-decorate as many times as they'd like.  This girl
hangs up ornaments at least 10 times per day.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM THE HAUANS!!!
