We had a BLAST going to the Cardinals game on Monday night! Julia won two free tickets through our local library reading program, and a friend here on campus gave us two more free tickets. She chose to take her friend, Emme, as it would have been just a bit too long/late for Calboy. (He had 1 on 1 fun with a babysitter though.)
We made an event out of it by taking the Metro (public train transportation) both to and from the game. The girls did AWESOME throughout the whole night--we were so proud. Not only did we witness a Cardinals home run but also a GRAND SLAM in the 7th which ended up being the game clincher! It was pretty exciting--we can't wait to go back to Busch Stadium!

| We loved the view. |
Julia has recently learned to ride her bike--big girl! Every evening she rides her bike around our little cul-de-sac with her friends and we push Cal on Julia's old trike. We've created quite the Sem biker gang.

These two get to watch The Cat in the Hat sometimes. They are totally
mesmerized by this special treat! |
Glad you had a great time at the game! Julia and her friend are super cute!
ReplyDeleteUmm, and that picture of Cal as a contortionist...he looks very comfortable folded in half. Wish I could fold in half and be comfy like that. :0
