Halloween 2012

We had a fun week of Halloween this year!  Poor Cal was/still is recovering from a double ear infection, hence, he had to miss out on some of the festivities and is not quite his usual chipper self.  He's slowing started to get back to normal which is so nice!  Julia loved going trick-or-treating and truly had fun this year.  (Haune and I did too!)  Enjoy the pictures and videos below:

They really did have a great time, despite their melancholy looks in this picture!
Tradition at the Sem is to have all the kids gather for a picture then go trick-or-treating
at the professors houses, also on campus, followed by our apartment complex.  Here's a shot of approximately
75% of the group.  I must say that it was a pretty neat experience.
Julia and her BFF Sasha.

This Prof has a sense of humor!

There's just something special about a Daddy with his little dragon...

Silly monkey!

On an afternoon where Cal took a huge nap and Julia didn't take a nap
at all, the two of us carved a pumpkin.

Since Cal was sick, Daddy stayed home with him on Sunday night so that Julia
and I could go to two different events: Trunk or Treating at our church and a
Halloween party at our local children's museum -- an event that my school put on for our students.
This picture is of her trunk-or-treating at our church.

Here we are at the Magic House with my team teacher, Karin, and her little girl, Livi.

The beanstalk was a huge hit!

"Another day another dollar..."

This was her all-time favorite display at the museum:
