Rock 'n' Roll 1/2 Marathon St. Louis

My sweet friend Erica Faye and her sweet husband, Rob, came to visit us last weekend.  Oh, and us girls ran a 1/2 marathon too.  :)  We had a great time -- it was so wonderful being around old friends again.  Here are some pictures and a video of the weekend.  Thanks again for making the trip, Danielsons!  Faye, you're amazing!!!

THE WORST PICTURE OF US EVER but I think it summarizes the race.  Faye's knee started hurting terribly
around mile 2.  It was a struggle for both of us just to get through this doozy--my knee/hip weren't feeling 100% either!  By this time in the race (mile 13), she was in a whole bunch of pain and I was just happy to see the end in sight!  Our husbands and the kids were so patient in waiting around for us at the finish line.  You guys are the best!

I thought the kids would like to finish the race with me, so I grabbed them from Haune at the end.  Oops!  I was wrong!  They HATED it and it was so loud! Oh well, they survived and it's just another memory to add to the festivities.

They were such troopers.  It was a long morning for me, but I think
it was an even longer morning for these two cheerleaders.
