Hangin' Out With the Hauans

As you can tell from my [lack of] blogging lately, we've been away from the computer -- out and about enjoying life post-Greek class.  :)  Last weekend we traveled to see Haune's family and had a WONDERFUL time.  Some highlights included: a neighborhood parade, croquet, children's museum, swimming pool, and simply quality time with the family.  I'm so bummed though--I have several videos I wanted to post from this weekend but only a few are coming up after lots of attempts (and lots of time to boot).  Hopefully I'll be able to get some more up soon.  Until then, we hope you enjoy the pics!  Thanks again, Hauans, for the fun time!

A rare glimpse of a serious moment.

That's more like it!  Mr. Smiley Pants.

"With just a little help from Daddy I can stand up.  Watch out
world, I'm going to have faster wheels pretty soon!"

No trip visiting the cousins is complete without a bath!

She loved the parade!  She quickly caught on to the concept of grabbing
everything you can and putting it in your bag.  In this picture, Julia
is stuffing some silly string in her bag that people sprayed us with. :)

This was from a local dentist with a note that said, "Come see us
for a killer smile."

Cousins!

"I love Papa Mark!"

I actually got them all looking at the camera.  (We bribed them with parade candy!)

One the way home we visited our friends Jill and Regina Hartleip-Pinto
in Comumbia, MO.  Regina was my little buddy when I lived in Cedar Falls
and now she's in 6th grade.  Jill was my Aunt Judy's honorary niece, so we've known
one another for quite some time.  We enjoyed yummy food (thanks again, Jill)
and just catching up.  Aunt Judy would have been so pleased. :)
