Catching Up

This post officially puts my blogging up to speed.  Below you'll see some pictures from our stay in Hubbard (hanging out around the farm and visiting the new--and beautiful--Hardin County Historical Museum) as well as my dear friend Erica Faye's wedding which took place in a fantastic apple orchard outside of Jordan, MN.  One word can simply describe their wedding ceremony: BEAUTIFUL.  It was amazing to witness such a beautiful union of two oh-so deserving people!  Enjoy!

A visit with the family is not complete without a haircut from Aunt Jane.

Hardin County Historical Museum houses my Grandma Julia Ann (Wasson) Dubberke's former one room school house.  It was an honor to take my Julia Ann and Cal to visit such a historical icon in my home county.

All items throughout the museum were donated by citizens of Hardin County.

The barn was BEAUTIFUL!  They did such a great job rennovating it.
There is even a stage upstairs for bands and dances.  FUN!

The barn boards throughout the museum were salvaged from the Wasson farm where my Grandma Julia grew up.  (Now
owned by the Ziesman family.)

The barn boards.

Dad's longtime friend, Darold, was kind enough to open up
the museum for a personal tour for our family.

My Grandma's picture is still up--she's the one by the index finger and her brother, John is by the other finger.

Mr. and Mrs. Rob Danielson's wedding!

Watching the happy couple made EVERYONE happy!

Yup, as part of their wedding they had a seed spitting contest!  It was so much fun (to watch)!

The champion.

One of my favorite pictures from the rehearsal.  We love you, Faye and Rob!
